Inclusivity and Welfare at WDSS

At WDSS, we value the participation of all our members and strive to build a community that is supportive, inclusive, and respectful, so that Warwick students of all backgrounds can have enjoyable and fulfilling experiences with us. Accordingly, all attendees of our events and participants in our opportunities are expected to follow our code of conduct, and we ensure to treat any violations of this policy seriously


Code of Conduct

Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down others. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes and language are not appropriate at any event during any opportunity related to WDSS.


All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.


WDSS is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

How to Report

If you have any concerns about the following of our code of conduct or would like to report an incident, you are welcome and encouraged to reach out to any member of our exec, whose contact details can be found here. Our Vice President is also our Welfare Officer so is a good port-of-call if you are unsure of who to reach out to.


When raising any issue, we will ensure to treat all exchanges seriously and with upmost confidentiality.


You are also able to complete an anonymous report via this form which will notify our Vice President.
